  Very cool experience and something a bit different! The idea of living in cave may not appeal to most people in the conventional sense but trust me it's something everyone should try just for the experience. For a hotel room, the caves aren't exactly amazing but for a cave they're pretty impressive. They're essentially caves with the front of a house stuck on it. They smell a little damp a but are surprisingly very cool inside which apparently is why a lot of the locals in the village live in them permanently. Plus the area nearby is absolutely stunning, the nearby reservoir is gorgeous and there are a lot of other beauty spots within driving distance.

  Generally a great experience that I would recommend to anyone looking to do something a little whilst taking in some Spanish landscape scenery.

  Cuevacasa themselves offer a decent little breakfast of tea and toast (which we weren't aware was included on the price so that was a nice surprise) and generally the staff were very nice (though they spoke little English) fortunately the person who owns the caves is English and was happy for us to call him in England when we needed any sort of advice.

  My only negatives are that, if you don't have a car don't bother as the village is tiny and there's not much to do. Flies - bring fly killer. For some reason in the mountains there are flies everywhere so when trying to sleep it's a good idea to go around and spray some fly killer so you can sleep bother free. Food - Google is your friend, there are a couple of places to eat it Friela but not much, luckily there are a few places nearby and bigger villages nearby where you can grab food, some are right on the coast of the reservoir which gets you some stunning views to eat with.
